Additional Information: This type of bedroom furniture (called "borati" in Oromo, "gim'a" in Gurage, "barko" in Somali, ትራስ "teras" in Amharic, "metaras" in Beja, "wrs" or "uras" in Ancient Egyptian, etc...) is wide-spread throughout Africa particularly (although not exclusively) south of the Sahara with the main exception north of the Sahara being Ancient Egypt/Kemet where it is even mentioned in their sacred literature in a chapter dedicated to it called "ro-n-uras" (" Chapter Of Headrest").
