A Conversation And Film Screening
Please join Jean-Rene Rinvil for Wine, Conversation and Screening of his film "Culture Clash" Jean-René engages with cultural identity in caribbean children with immigrant parents. Jean-René studied at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago with a MFA and at USF with a BA. His project, Culture Clash has screened internationally. On Monday afternoon August 5th , Fritzy and her three children, Amaiya 10, Annaliese 4 and Asher King , 2 months went school shopping. While traveling on the I-75 in Tampa, they were involved in a major car accident. While we are so thankful that Fritzy, Amaiya and Annaliese survived the major crash, tragically sweet baby Asher King suffered severe head trauma and passed away the following day. In such a short time, Asher brought so much love and joy to his family and friends. As the first son born to the Gaspard Family, the excitement surrounding his birth was absolutely contagious. His sisters anxiously awaited his arrival so they could shower him with hugs and kisses. Asher was immediately embraced and loved by everyone. Welcomed into a large family and always surrounded by an extended network of friends. We have lost our King entirely too soon but, we know that God is with him in heaven and his angel wings will help him soar. Although his passing has left us heartbroken, dazed, confused and sometimes angry, we embrace our faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to provide us the peace, comfort and understanding during this tragedy. We thank everyone for all the love, support, and prayers during this difficult time. We are beyond grateful. This documentary screening is created to assist Reggie and Fritzy with the funeral arrangements. We thank you in advance for your support and well wishes.
