Canning Strawberry Preserves and Fruit Salsa

NOTE: Advance registration is required for this workshop. Enjoy the taste of homemade jams and preserves from your own fruit. This class will teach the basics of making fruit jam. For the safety of participants, we ask that you wear closed-toe shoes and tie back any long hair you might have. Feel free to bring an apron to protect your clothing, since this is a "hands on" class. Space is limited. Register early through ufsarasotaext.eventbrite.com to save your spot and receive notice of any changes. The "USDA Complete Guide to Home Canning" book will be available for purchase for $15 at the class. Pay online through Eventbrite, or pay at the door with exact cash or by check.
