Florida Birding and Nature Festival
Focused on birds and nature conservation, it will feature birding, insect and herp field trips, workshops on identification and conservation, nature photography, and Expo. Capt. Buddy Powell, noted manatee expert will keynote one night. Expected birds include roseate spoonbills, wood storks, limpkins, anhingas, Am. oystercatchers, black skimmers, purple gallinules, Am. bitterns, reddish egrets, tricolored herons, owls, woodpeckers, fall vireos and warblers, more. Special field trips and activities for families with children.
